Scenario

When you require a URL to directly access an object within a bucket, use one of the following methods:

• Obtain the URL through the console. For more information, see Access Objects Using a URL.

• Obtain the URL using the code on your local device. Further details will be provided in the subsequent content.

Before You Begin

• You have uploaded an object to ZOS and obtained the endpoint of the resource pool, along with the bucket name where the object resides and its corresponding object key.

• The object key comprises all directory levels where the object resides, along with the object name, separated by slashes (/). If the object is located within the directory "aaa/bbb" in the bucket, and its name is "ccc.txt", then the object key would be "aaa/bbb/ccc.txt".

Note:

To use the URL for direct object downloads, the object permissions must allow public read access.

Sample Code

• Address for downloading an object over the Internet: Internet access endpoint/Bucket name/Object key (including all directory levels)

• Address for downloading an object within the intranet: intranet access endpoint/Bucket name/Object key (including all directory levels)

Example: If the endpoint of ZOS in the East 1 resource pool is https://jiangsu-10.zos.ctyun.cn, the bucket name is buckettest001, and the object key containing all direcory levels is aaa/bbb/ccc.txt, the download address for Internet users would be https://jiangsu-10.zos.ctyun.cn/buckettest001/aaa/bbb/ccc.txt.
