Scenario
· When you need multiple similar cloud servers or environments, you can clone existing servers to quickly deploy the required configurations, applications, and settings, saving configuration time and labor costs.
· If failure or exception occurs on the server, the cloned server can quickly replace the original server, reducing service interruption time.
· In cases where servers need to be added quickly to handle increased traffic or load balancing, cloning existing servers allows servers to be scaled more quickly to meet demand.
Prerequisites
· Select the region that supports cloning cloud servers.
· The cloud servers to be cloned is in the Running or Shutdown state, and those in the intermediate state cannot be cloned.
Procedure
1. Log in to the Control Center;
2. Click
at the top of Control Center and select Region;
3. Select Computing > Cloud Server;
4. Under the Action column of the cloud server to be cloned, click More > Clone Cloud Server;
5. On the Clone Cloud Server page, fill in the relevant information of the clone cloud server, click Buy Now, and complete the cloning after successful payment.
