Scenario
Creating elastic NIC can be used to implement flexible and high available network solution configuration.
Before You Begin
· VPC, subnet, and Elastic Cloud Server have been created.
Procedure
Log in to the console.
Click in the upper left corner of the Control Center page to select a region, here we select East China - East China 1.
Select Network, click VPC; go to the Network Console page.
Click Elastic NIC to enter the Elastic NIC list page. Click Create Elastic NIC to enter the interface of creating elastic NIC.
Fill in the basic information on the Create Elastic NIC details page. Elastic NICs have subnet attributes and can only be mounted on cloud server and physical server instances of the corresponding subnets after creation. Multiple IPs on a single NIC can be realized by assigning a secondary private IP.
Parameter | Description |
Name | Elastic NIC name, composed of numbers, English letters, Chinese letters, dashes(-), underscores(_), cannot start with numbers, underscores(_) and dashes(-). |
VPC | Select the VPC to which the elastic NIC belongs, which is required. |
Subnet | Select the Subnet to which the elastic NIC belongs, which is required. |
Primary private IPv4 address | Auto Allocation |
Secondary private IPs | You can choose not to set, auto-assign, or specify an address. |
Security Group | Select the security group to which the elastic NIC belongs. |
Fill in the basic information, click OK and the elastic NIC is created successfully.
