Scenario
You can modify the name and security group of the elastic NIC and manage the secondary private IP according to your business needs.
Before You Begin
· VPC, subnet, and Elastic Cloud Server have been created.
Procedure
Log in to the console.
Click in the upper left corner of the Control Center page to select a region.
Select Network, click VPC; go to the Network Console page.
Click Elastic NIC to enter the Elastic NIC list page.
Locate the desired elastic NIC on the Elastic NIC list, click Modify, enter name, security group, and description, and click OK.
In the Action column of the target elastic NIC, click Manage Secondary Private IP.
In the pop-up window, you can unassign the primary private IPv6 address, and the IPv6 address will be reclaimed after unassigning. The IPv6 address can be reassigned. You can also assign a new secondary private IP (IPv4) or unassign it.
Note:
After assigning a secondary private IP, you need to log in to the server instance and configure the assigned secondary private IP address within the instance.
When you do not need this elastic NIC, click Delete in the elastic NIC list to delete it.
