Elastic Cloud Server

Create Cloud Disk

2025-11-24 08:54:52

Scenario

The system disk is automatically added when creating a cloud server or physical server, without the need to create it separately. The data disk can be created when the cloud server or physical server is created, and automatically mounted to the server. You can also create a separate EVS after creating the cloud server or physical server and mount it to the server.

Restriction and Limitations

· The system disk can only be automatically created and mounted when purchasing the cloud server or physical server, and the EVS creation window can only create data disk.

· For EVS created with cloud server or physical server, the billing mode is the same as that of cloud server and physical server.

· The EVS created with cloud server or physical server will be automatically mounted to the server, and cannot be unmounted, which will no longer be mounted to other cloud servers or physical servers.

· EVS can only be mounted on cloud servers or physical servers in the same availability zone.

· The availability zone of an EVS cannot be modified.
