Overview of Drive Type Selection

eSurfing Cloud GPU Cloud Server supports the installation of the following two NVIDIA drivers:

· GPU driver: used to drive physical GPU, also called Tesla driver.

· GRID driver: used to obtain graphics acceleration capabilities.

· GPU driver is automatically installed when creating a GPU instance (only supports Linux OS)

· Download and install the GPU driver from NVIDIA official website


Graphics Rendering

GRID Driver

· Select a billing image with the GRID driver pre-installed at the time of purchase

· Purchase the corresponding license from NVIDIA or its agent and install the GRID driver yourself

Note:

At present, only the GPU cloud server in some resource pools support automatic installation of GPU drivers / provide billing images with pre-installed GRID drivers. For other resource pools, please install the drivers manually. If you need to install the GPU driver manually, see Install Tesla Driver and Install GRID Driver.

Each instance specification supports auto-installed/pre-installed driver versions.
