Scenario

You can create a key pair through the Management Control Center. After creation, the public key is automatically kept in the system, while the private key is be kept locally by the user.

Procedure

1. Log in to the console.

2. Click Service List in the left navigation bar, select Computing > Elastic Cloud Server.

3. In the left navigation bar, click SSH Key Pair to enter the key pair list.

4. Click the Create Key Pair button in the upper right corner, enter the name and select Enterprise Project and click OK to start creation.

5. After the key pair is successfully created, the pop-up window will automatically download the "XXXX.pem" key to the local computer.

Note

In order to ensure the security of the cloud server, the private key can only be downloaded once. If the private key is lost, you will not be able to log in to the cloud server, please keep it properly.

1. Return to the SSH key pair list page, and click the Refresh button in the upper right corner of the list to view the creation of SSH key pair.
