Restriction and Limitations:
Ensure that the cloud server is in the Running state during installation
Ensure that the cloud server can access curl 169.254.169.254:10063 and 169.254.169.254:10064 normally
After successful installation, the monitoring process will not be closed by other software.
The monitoring plug-in is automatically installed when creating a cloud server
Procedure
Log in to the console.
Click on the top left corner to select the region where the cloud server will be created.
Click Computing > Elastic Cloud Server to enter the cloud server console.
Click Create Cloud Server, and in the Advanced Configuration tab, check the "Enable Detailed Monitoring" option. The cloud server created with this configuration will be automatically installed with the monitoring plug-in.
Install and upgrade the monitoring plug-in for the created cloud server
Procedure
Click in the upper left corner to select the region where the cloud server to be installed or upgraded is located.
Click Management and Deployment > Cloud Eye to enter the Server Monitoring > Cloud Server Monitoring menu.
Select the cloud server that needs to be installed or upgraded and click Install/Update Agent.
When the monitoring status of the cloud server monitoring list is Normal, it indicates that the monitoring plug-in is successfully installed.
