Purchase an ECS
Log in to eSurfing Cloud Control Center (Console) and select the region where you want to deploy an ECS at the top of the page, for example, Hong Kong 2. Select the Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) product under the Compute category. Or on the homepage of eSurfing Cloud's official website, click Subscribe Now.
Click Create ECS.
Configure ECS Specifications
Select the billing mode, You can select one of Yearly/Monthly Subscription or Pay-as-you-go Billing.
Fill in the required information on the page, such as the region, server name, specifications, image type, and storage.
Description
During the process of creating an ECS, select the specifications and features that meet your business requirements. See: ECS Specifications.
You need to pay corresponding fees for using an ECS. For details, see: Pay-as-you-go Billing Mode and Yearly/Monthly Subscription.
You need to configure system disks and data disks to create ECSs. If you have requirements for storage performance, see: Introduction to Disk Types and Performance.
Accordingly, you need to pay for the storage. For details, see: EVS Billing Modes.
Network Configuration
The network configuration options for ECS include NIC, extension NIC, security group, and elastic IP (EIP). Complete the operation as prompted.
Click the Next: Advanced Configuration button.
Description
Security group is a component that controls the access policies of an ECS. For related concepts and operations, see: Security Group Overview.
If you need to access the Internet, you can use an EIP. For related concepts and application scenarios, see: Introduction to EIP.
You need to pay accordingly for using an EIP. For details, see: EIP Billing.
Advanced Settings
Select Password or Key Pair for the login method.
Select the method for creating a password.
Click the Next: Confirm button.
Confirm and Purchase
After confirming that the configuration is correct, click Buy Now.
Enter the order creation page.
After the order is created, the corresponding ECS instance is also created. Then, you can refresh the page to view the order status.
