Scenario

Security group is an important network security protection policy, which is used to manage and control network access to cloud server. After you create a cloud server and associate it with a security group, you can change the security group at any time according to business needs.

Prerequisites

· The creation of ECS has been completed and the security group has been associated.

· Another security group has been created as the replaced security group.

Procedure

1. Log in to the console.

2. Select a region in the upper left corner of the control center page, here select East China - East China 1.

3. Select Computing > Elastic Cloud Server to enter the cloud server console.

4. In the list of cloud servers, click the name of the cloud server for which you want replace the security group rule to enter the cloud server details page.

5. On the cloud server details page, select the Security Group tab and click the Change Security Groups button to bring up the Change Security Group pop-up window. 

6. In the Change Security Group pop-up window, you can drop down to select other security group to associate. Click OK after association to complete the change of security group. 

7. After the change is complete, you can view the changed security group under the Security Group tab.
