Scenario

This section describes how to log in to the Windows Elastic Cloud Server via the remote login function (VNC) on the Control Center interface.

Restriction and Limitations

· Currently, you can access the remote login function via the custom port configured in the system. When using the remote login function, ensure that the port to be used is not blocked by the firewall. For example: if the remote login link is xxx:8002, you need to ensure that port 8002 is not blocked by the firewall.

· If the client OS uses a local proxy and you cannot configure the firewall port for the local proxy, you need to disable the proxy before using the remote login function.

· Some GPU instances do not support the remote login function on the control center interface and require VNC Server to log in. It is recommended to use MSTSC to log in to Elastic Cloud Server.

Log in to Windows Elastic Cloud Server

1. Log in to the console.

2. Click at the top of Control Center and select Region.

3. Click Product and Service List in the left navigation bar and select Computing > Elastic Cloud Server.

4. Obtain the password of Windows Elastic Cloud Server. When you log in to the Elastic Cloud Server via VNC, you need to know its password before logging in.

· When your Windows Elastic Cloud Server is authenticated by password, please log in directly with the password set when you creating the cloud server.

· When your Windows Elastic Cloud Server is authenticated by key, you can use the reset password function to set a new password for the cloud server.

1. Select the Windows Elastic Cloud Server you want to log in to and click Remote Login under the Action column to bring up the Remote Login window with the operating system interface.

2. If it prompts "Press Ctrl+Alt+DEL to unlock", please click Send CtrlAltDel in the upper right corner of the remote login panel to enter the user login interface.

3. Enter the Elastic Cloud Server password to complete the login.
