Scenario
You can flexibly create alarm rules based on your needs, either using the default alarm template, or setting custom alarm rules for specific metrics.
When the metrics of a resource meet the alarm conditions, Cloud Eye will send you an alarm message and report the abnormal monitoring data, helping you grasp and handle the abnormal status in a timely manner to ensure the business running smoothly.
Procedure
Log in to the console.
Click in the upper left corner of the Control Center page to select a region.
Select Management and Deployment and click Cloud Eye to enter the monitoring overview page.
Click the Alarm Service drop-down menu and click Alarm Rules to enter the alarm rule details page.
On the Alarm Rules page, click Create Alarm Rules to go to the Alarm Rule Creation page.
On the Create Alarm Rules page, configure parameters according to the prompts.
The parameters are as follows:
Parameter | Parameter Description |
Rule Type | Select the type of rule: metric monitoring, event monitoring or site monitoring. |
Cloud services | Configure the type of cloud service resource to be monitored by the alarm rules. |
Dimension | Specifies the name of the metric that corresponds to the alarm rule. |
Monitoring Object | Used to configure the specific resources targeted by this alarm rule, which can be one or more. |
Select Type | You can choose to import from a template or create a custom one. |
Template | Select the templates to be imported. |
Send Notification | To configure whether to send an email to notify the user, you can select Yes (recommended) or No. |
Select Alarm Contact Group | Configure the user group to be notified of the alarm. |
Repeat Alarm | After an alarm occurs, if the metric does not return to normal, how long will it take to send the alarm again. |
Trigger Scenario | Scenarios that trigger alarm emails, reminders are sent when alarm triggered and recovered. |
Notification Cycle | Configure the cycle time for alarm notification. |
Notification Period | Configure the time period for alarm notification. |
Notification Method | Configure the method of alarm notification, either by email or SMS. |
Name | The custom name for this alarm rule. |
Enterprise project | Select the enterprise project to which the alarm rule applies. |
Description | Add description of the alarm rule (this parameter is not required). |
