Scenario

· When the cloud server operating system fails to start normally, or when the cloud server system is running normally but needs to be optimized to work at its optimum, the user can use the function of reinstalling cloud server operating system.

· If the operating system currently used by the cloud server cannot meet the business requirements, for example, the software requires a higher version of the operating system. eSurfing Cloud supports switching between different image types (including public images and private images) and different operating systems (including Windows and Windows, Linux and Linux, Windows and Linux).

Note: One-click Reinstall supports batch reinstallation, but each batch cannot exceed 50 cloud servers.

Prerequisites

· The cloud server to be reinstalled is in the Shutdown state.

· Reinstalling the operating system will erase the system disk data, including the system partition and all other partitions on the system disk.

· GPU cloud server does not support batch reinstallation.

· We suggest that the interval between multiple operations of one-click OS reinstallation in batch should be more than 120 s; otherwise, cause reinstallation failure may occur.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Control Center;

2. Click at the top of Control Center and select Region;

3. Select Computing > Cloud Server;

4. Under the Action column of the cloud server to be reinstalled, click More > One-click Reinstall;

1. On the One-click Reinstall page, select the operating system you want to install and click OK to complete the reinstallation.
