What is Image

An image is a template for the running environment that an elastic cloud server can choose, typically including an operating system and pre-installed software. Users can achieve rapid deployment of application scenarios on elastic cloud servers through images.

Image Type

Images come in various types, such as public images which are provided by the system by default, private images which are created by the users themselves, shared images which are private images shared by other users, and so on. For more details, please refer to: Image Service-Product Introduction.
